RS Pres?

Well folks, believe it or not I'm in charge of 24 young women in my ward. I received the call to be the Relief Society president this semester! My first feeling was excitement, believe it or not! Haha. Then, last night I started to get a little nervous, eek! Today went well and I'm excited to see what this semester holds for me especially with my already crazy homework load! BUT- with the Lord I can do all things! I found this online and thought it was funny..

Whenever I play the game "two truths and a lie", I always use the truth- I have four cousins. No one believes me because most LDS people have so many cousins they haven't met all of them! Haha. My cousin, Jessicah, posted this picture on Facebook recently and it turned out really well!

I think it's pretty obvious that I'm obsessed with my home town- Portland. I'm woman enough to admit it, it's okay. ;) I'm half way through my time home this week and I've loved every minute of it! I've also realized how much I love the color green!

How could you not fall in love at first sight?! My oh my, I took this beauty for granted until I moved to Idaho... Don't get me wrong--> I LOVE Idaho but this is where the saying, "there's no place like home" comes in and it is 100% true!

Jerky, Cheez-Its (even though I'm lactose intolerant), peanut M&M's, grapes, and water.

I would take Bri. All my other close friends are married! Haha.

I loved "underground" pop/punk stuff in high school. I went to shows quite often.

I'm not even sure... My phone is pretty much never on sound.

I think I was 18? Can't remember... And it was "bleh".

I'm the middle child of two sisters.

I don't know that I was born with a quirk but I was really small! Around five pounds and 18 inches long.

What was your first car, and did you name it?
1986 Toyota Camry, her name is Lady Chestnut the fifth of spuds. For short, Lady Chestnut or LC.

Anything is with cheese! I'm lactose intolerant so I can't have any but if it was my last supper who cares! Haha.

Have you ever been hospitalized, and if so, what for?
I got my tonsils out when I was around four.

I'm five foot even and I love my height!

Sewing, babysitting (haha), photography, and I don't know! Stuff! Ha!

BOI --> PDX!

That's right folks... I fly HOME TOMORROW! Am I excited? Heck yes! Haha. Oh man, this semester has been all kinds of crazy and fun but I'm glad it's over. The final stats are one "A+", four "A's", and two "A-'s". Not too fond of the A-'s but I'll take it! They're better than B+'s. Haha. I took my last final this morning at 7:30AM... yes, AM! WAY too early for me to be thinking clearly but it's finished and I'm super stoked. Tonight I'm driving to Boise and staying with some friends and then they'll take me to the Boise airport tomorrow morning. Even though my week at home will go by quickly I'm excited to be home with the people I love the most! When I come back this is what my schedule will look like...

I'm registered for 15 credits... I'm also registered for one online class that doesn't show on here but I'm not sure that I'm going to take it for sure. I want my last spring in Rexburg to be fun! I LOVE springs here. They're so beautiful and warm and just perfect! Idaho is a great place to live but I really love Oregon! ;)

I changed the name of my blog. I'm sure that's pretty obvious at this point. Haha. And I think it's obvious as to why. I'm obsessed with taking pictures and that's usually all I post. So, this is my life, my blog, my pictures, and my passion! So, take a ride with me on this bumpy road called life! :)

one week. finals week.

Well, it's that time again. Monday marks the first day of finals week boy am I glad that this semester is coming to a close. It has been a good one but I'm just ready. The last two weeks have been... Well, trying. I've spent almost literally all day on campus the past two weeks. I pulled many ten hour days on campus and I was simply exhausted! A lot of it was because of my confectionery class. I will never take a culinary class ever again! Cooking candy is so hard and very time consuming! I get to go home in ONE WEEK! Can you believe it? I sure can't and I'm very excited to see some of my favorites! Especially these little kiddos...

I know what you're thinking... What the heck is this? Well, it's the centerpiece I made. It's made totally out of sugar. It was a lot harder to make than it looks.

 This is the "box" we had to make to put four of the candies we've made over the semester. It's extremely fragile! It's made out of sugar cage.

With the "lid" on it. There's a caramel, truffle, almond cup, and butter-mint in it.

I went hiking for home evening which was nice to get away from homework and there was this beautiful sunset... You know I'm obsessed with them. I'm okay with that.

 We decided that since it was the week before finals we needed to take some roommate pictures and I'm lucky enough to have lived with yet another great photographer. We took them by the train! They turned out great and I'll post about them when they're all edited.

 Yesterday I took a break from all my crazy classes and homework and had lunch with my roommate from last semester, Hilary! I love "Chinese" food!

 After lunch yesterday I went and hung out in the library to force myself to get home homework done... Can you tell that EVERYONE went down to Utah for general conference? Or maybe it's so empty because it was a Friday night? Haha. Maybe I'm a little too dedicated...
